You’re not alone! Many people feel uncertain about starting. I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental space where you can move at your own pace and feel supported throughout your journey.
-
Yes, your sessions are confidential, with a few legal exceptions, such as imminent risk of serious harm to self or others (including child or elder abuse), or a court subpoena. We’ll review these limits in our first session, so you feel informed and safe.
-
I work with teens (13+), adults, and couples navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges including disconnection and rebuilding trust after infidelity, as well as low self-esteem and life transitions.
I offer culturally competent and affirming therapy for men, women, LGBTQ+, and neurodiverse clients seeking a safe space to heal and grow.
-
I offer individual, couples, and EMDR therapy. My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and the Gottman Method, along with other evidence-based, person-centred approaches tailored to your needs.
-
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin shaping a plan that fits your needs. I’ll also review important information with you, including confidentiality, clinic policies, my therapeutic approach, and how sessions are typically structured. You’re welcome to ask any questions; this time is about making sure you feel safe, informed, and comfortable moving forward.
-
You can choose 30-, 60-, or 90-minute sessions for individual therapy. Please note that 5 minutes of the 30-minute session, and 10 minutes of the 60- and 90-minute sessions, are reserved for clinical documentation.
Couples and EMDR therapy are available in 60- or 90-minute formats, with 10 minutes of each session allocated for documentation as well.
-
Yes! I offer a free 20-minute phone or video consultation. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share what you're looking for in therapy, and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to connect and see if my approach aligns with your needs.

Currently, I’m offering virtual sessions only. However, this may change in the future. If in-person sessions are important to you, feel free to reach out, and I’m happy to keep you informed if options become available.

I currently accept two forms of payment:
Credit Card – Your card will be securely billed after each session.
E-transfer – If paying by e-transfer, payment must be received at least 24 hours before your scheduled session to confirm your booking.
You will receive a detailed receipt after each payment, which includes my credentials and those of my supervisors. This can be submitted to your insurance provider if applicable.
-
At this time, I do not offer direct billing. However, many clients are able to submit receipts for reimbursement through their extended health benefits.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), supervised by two licensed clinicians:
A Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW)
A Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
Because I work under the supervision of both an RSW and an RP, your insurance plan may accept claims under either of those designations.
To confirm your coverage, you can ask your provider:
Do you cover sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)?
Do you cover services provided under the supervision of an RSW or an RP?
Is a referral from a physician required?
What is the annual/session limit for coverage?
-
No. As a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, I do not charge HST or GST on psychotherapy services. These services are exempt from tax under current federal regulations.
-
Sliding scale options may be available — feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss this further.
-
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be billed at the full session fee.
